BMW Valve Covers DON'T come pre-tapped

A BMW valve cover does not come with the holes pre-tapped.

The 13mm numbs for the engine cover, the T25 for the oil line guides, the T25s for the Ignition Coils Harness, the T25 for the O2 sensor bracket, and the E6 screws for the vavletronic actuator seal all need to be tapped by the installer.

It's recommended to get new screws, but honestly, if the head is in good condition and the threads look fine you can reuse them. They're not torque to yield, just hand tight is good enough.

Hey Fritz, great tutorial. Question, can you shoot a link or let me know what upgraded hose you are using for the breather hose? The one that connects between the inlet and valve cover? That looks like the perfect upgrade.

I was actually looking at getting the kit from fcp euro did your kit come with everything or do I have to buy the gaskets and bolts separately?
