Hi Sorin... I have been watching and learning from you for a while..I own a computer repair center in South Africa... . I am learning lots of extra bits from you....
Video TDR Failure is the following problem.
Due to a later update from windows it corrupts the video driver. You need to download DDU and the original driver for the graphics card. First you uninstall the drivers with DDU... Back to windows basic display. Then you close the DDU program and install the original driver, however Nvidia asks for the express or custom install... Use the custom function. After the installation you need to adjust the wifi power to maximum (why... Who knows) but it works.. My client and I battled for 2 months.. And now it's perfect....

Hi Sorin I like your honesty, its no disgrace to ask for help, you have a dedicated audiance who avidly watch & listento you. amongst the comments
you will find the answer! It seems to me not a computer fault, but a loading error, as you know these machines inside out, somethings not compatible.

As someone already mentioned, you should try using the software called DDU(Display Driver Uninstaller) in Safe Mode ( I understood that it works it ) then boot normally and try installing a different version of the driver, or the one, that is supplied through Windows Update ( Or disable automatic driver installation through it, if it is the one, that is corrupted). Thank you again for your great videos. Cheers from Latvia! =)

I agree with previous comments. Had been having a lot of bsod on win10 v2004. I spent days in hardware troubleshooting and switching cables but reinstalling my pc to factory win10 fixed my bsod issues.

TDR is an abbreviation for Timeout, Detection, and Recovery. It's a windows component. Whenever you receive this error, the Graphics card stops responding and Windows will stop to fix the driver error.

Probably hardware failure in graphics hardware within the cpu. Integrated like you said.

Vide TDR failure is caused by a the graphic driver ... Try an older version of W10 or Linux ;)

Hi Sorin, from what i've just googled it's all pointing to a graphics driver problem, so i would try a fresh clean install of windows to make sure the driver is completely removed and see if that works.Love the channel by the way.

Hi Sorin, most of the comments are correct this is a video drv problem. Here’s a work around That WORKS. Start windows in safe mode then disable the Ati graphics chip- remove all Ati etc software related to the graphics chip- restart normal- Windows will now run with generic drivers. Had this issue a few times with ATI chips.

Hey Sorin, here is my shot at fixing your TDR timeout error. Change the RAM modules on a lower frequency, this happened to me with a Dell AIO 24 inch after I switched the RAM modules to a lower freq, the problem was under control, its not fixed, because it seems to be a voltage problem, but the lower freq seems to fix it.

When you installed windows, did you allow the machine to do updates from the internet?
Could be a bum display driver in the latest update.

I would suggest using a live linux cd that way you can see if the system hardware is good and if the problem is software related. I have had a few bad widows images that hang up like that.

Sorin, you might try running a 'live' version of linux just to rule out any software issues. If it will run on linux, it's more than likely a bad Windows install.
