The box-truck-sized rock 2023 BU, which had only been discovered a week earlier, made one of the known near-Earth object's closest approaches to Earth ever seen in January, according to astronomers. And now, according to NASA, an asteroid has been found speeding toward Earth to wreak havoc.

The Tunguska event has yet to be proven an asteroid, as no impact crater has been found and no remnants of any asteroid or meteoroid-sized pieces of the object. Where ad the Chelyabinsk asteroid broke up before it hit the earth as seen in the videos making the damage much less severe than it could have been but also pieces of the asteroid have been found or collected. I’m personally leaning toward the Tesla’s death ray was responsible hypothesis because frankly it makes more sense than a “ghost asteroid” or air burst.
