I'm curious if these exact plugins would be your first choice for this chain in general? Seems you're using the shade eq a lot more lately. Do you prefer Shade over ProQ and do you feel that Sonnible has surpased Fabfilter?

I'm learning about vocals, this is a really helpful video. My struggle is figuring out exactly what kind of effect i want my voice to have. Perhaps thats more of a creative journey, but seems like at the root you have to clean your vocals, before you start adding any effects, etc.

I purchased a beat/ stems from a producer, do I need to mix the beat or can I rap right over them ?

I only use a channel strip and saturation on the specific vocal track. Ok Maybe a deesser too.
