She’s leaving her homestead after living at a hospital for seven months or so—with her family spread between two houses. Yep. She is doing the best that she can. She’ll get back to her “new normal” soon enough….

It might not be cheaper to make your own mayo, but it isn’t filled with unnecessary ingredients! My mom used to make it with
1 Cup of olive oil (avocado oil is great too, but wasn't really around in the 70s)
1 egg
2 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp salt (or more to taste)
Blend in blender or immersion blender
Put in glass container
Refrigerate.

Eggs are in a giant walk-in refrigerator that is usually near the meat department. Costco has the best price on eggs but you need to go first thing in the morning. I love the sprouted oatmeal.
