Oh wow. We fly tomorrow. I have had the carrier out but wish I'd spent some time doing the training that you have just shared. My dog is just 10lbs but she seems gigantic standing next to it. She happily goes in to get the treats and has stayed inside just for a few moments. Today I will have to practice the last steps. Thank you for the great advice.

Baby steps helped me crate train an intact 3year old male rottie. The owner said it would never happen. Helps to have other crate trained dogs showing him how it’s done. On command, they’d all enter their cage, sit, and wait for the door to be closed. Treats, of course. Excellent video.

My dog laughs in the face of this video , he has a voice and he’s not afraid to literally scream out like he’s being abducted. He could have a whole bag of treats it wouldn’t matter lol

I suppose we got very lucky. Or first small dog loves his carrier so much that the second we bring it down he'll jump right in. He loves it so much he sleeps in it. The second small dog is still a puppy, he'll just need a lil more time to get used to it.

I just bought my Yorkie one. I’m traveling in September I bought it super early to get her use to it lol. I just put her in there closed it left her there for 20 minutes she didn’t even try to get out lol she laid down lol
