I remembered this change before upgrading my survival to 1.16, so i stayed in 1.14.2 and made every type of armor a god one, leather, gold, chain, iron, diamond and another diamond for netherite. And now they sit there being useless, but it´s pleacing to see leatherarmor with 9 enchants.

You you know what, I think a perfect compromise would be allowing god armor to still exist in the game but only on golden armor. The reason would be because golden armor already has more inherent enchant value but due to its lower stats across the board, no one ever uses it. Allowing gold armor and only gold armor to achieve god armor status would give it a value and even more just bling potential and personally I would think that would be really cool and I would make god gold armor in my on worlds just to have it and maybe even to wear it. And it would add more variety to the kinds of armor and game players might wear. Which is a huge bonus because see everyone at the end game with the same goal gray pieces of armor is kind of boring there’s no variety at that point. No customization ability

I remember on WiiU on creative worlds you could add all types of enchantments on armor and sword. For some reason you could also add Sharpness V, Fire Aspect II and other kinds of enchantments on your armor pieces

I think god armor shouldn’t have stayed in the game because the game is already too easy with netherite being added. I remember in one of your old videos you were talking about how the game may have gotten easier and I feel as if god armor would be too much.

I started my HC world in 1.14.2 specifically for god armour, it worked out pretty well

I think any long-term project addition in Minecraft is good. It would be really cool to have on my 1000+ day hardcore world. But imagine how broken this would be in multiplayer combat, your only chance would be entity cramming.

since protection reduces damage by 64%, you can combine it with a turtle master II potion which gives resistance 4 (-40% all damage) for almost complete damage immunity (your armor will still take durability damage)

For yall wondering, yes this bug (multiple of the same enchantment) still actually exists on the Wii U side of things. It probably still exists on all legacy editions. Though, I'm pretty sure that if you add the same enchantment but higher, it removes the second. (so lets say you have two protection III's on the same helmet. Add another protection book and you only get one enchantment on the helmet and the second enchantment disappears.)

I was a brand new Minecraft player during 1.14 - I had god armor. I remember spending a lot of time figuring out which books to combine and then lots of trial and error getting them onto my armor. How cool! I also remember when the next patch came out and I died and went back to recreate my god armor, I wasn't able to.
