Steve is so good he only threw an eye of ender and then him and Alex got teleported where the stronghold was and Steve just dug down to it like it was always there and he knew it since he was born

Cool story, though, my headcanon is Steve was a zombie that randomly got cured somehow. (With a zombie plague happening hundreds/thousands of years ago, with the only traces being the structures)
