I live in a remote corner of India bordering Burma and Bangladesh. We watched this without knowing what to expect of it. How impressed we were, especially me! We were the only family in the locality with a video cassette player. We played it for six nights straight! Every night a crowd of about 30 to 40 gathered to watch it. I still remember how we talked about it for months! Every short stick we found became a boom stick; every flat piece of wood we could lay our hands on became a chainsaw. The biggest in the group would be the protagonist and we were the monsters; when we hung out with others smaller than us it was our turn to be the main man and them the monsters. 😅

This movie was made in 1992. American dark fantasy comedy film directed by Sam Raimi, starring Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams. It is STILL a fantastic movie to watch over and over again....
