Marsh colony! lets go mud cats! I love wildfur so much. the poor guy just needs some love.
Also, omg! I had no idea Pool was given to Wildfur under such circumstances! So much angst already!

Wow... I'm blown away! All four of these colony chapters are incredible. Since I'm on Wildfur's one, I'll talk about him here.

His pain and guilt is... oh my gosh, I just want to hug him and let him vent out his problems, and hopefully learn to heal. You can understand why he wants nothing to do with his colony. After his brother died, the cats had practically abandoned him, except for dear Spottedshadow. (I'll comment on her chapter tomorrow; it's already pretty late where I am.)

And poor Sunfire and Breezeheart! I wanted to get to know them more, dang it! Why kill off two really amazing sounding characters before we meet them? But... the story with Wildfur becoming a mentor makes a lot of sense now.

Pool... aww, come on, sweetie. Wildfur is trying his best to be a mentor to the young cat, but it's just awkward. (Curse you, Tigerstripe!). In sharp contrast to Ice and Birdflight, who seem like they are going to have a great time. (Can't wait to see what kind of shenanigans they'll get up to).

Gosh, Leafstorm. I think she's trying too hard to be a good Second. Just clapping back at Wildfur whenever it arises. Then again, we are seeing this from Wildfur's POV, so maybe I'm just judging to harshly?

And Hawkshell, really? Only making Wildfur a 'useful' part of the colony? Ugh... she's going to frustrate me too.

Oh I was specifically waiting for this chapter since Marsh Colony is my absolute favourite! So far with Wildfur as Pov their chapters promise to be angsty, so even better. Hopefully the book itself will be out soon.

I read the old comic of this ages ago. I like all the changes, adjustments, and additions to the story. From Hawkshell’s implied relationship to Sunfire, to Leafstorm’s insecurities, Pool’s reluctance, and Wildfur’s grumpy attitude, this book’s got a whole cast of colorful characters and colorful interactions. Y’know what, I think I might consider getting this book. Is there a set price or is that still being worked out?
