Overwatch 2 is like fast food. It's a quick dose of dopamine but it quickly becomes disappointing once you had your fill.

TF2 meanwhile is a quiet little cafe in the corner run by a sweet old couple that makes sure the air conditioning isn't too cold and the coffee is served at soothing warmth temperature. Sure the drinks come in a little slow but it relaxes you and makes you smile.

No, it's suppose to make you feel worse, since a 15 year old game notorious for being abandoned by it's developers just got an update after all these years that includes something that people are actually happy about, and despite that thing just being a fucking sea creature, people are still talking about it more than your game.

As someone who was into Overwatch first, this shit hurts to say, but as someone who's been enjoying TF2 for a while now, *Schadenfreude*

Trust me If valve really wanted to make tf2 online to a half of million they would do it easily the fact that tf2 has that much online for a small update is fascinating

The differences between OW and tf2 fans is that the OW mfs are so dopamine hungry to the point of raging everytime there isnt an update every week. While tf2 fans are so update deprived they go nuts over a seal and a "new" gamemode to the point of doubling the peak players.
