I don't know if anyone noticed but Pattie was looking at the teleprompter throughout the first half of the song (obviously didn't know the song by heart). The amazing part is, she got through it without most of us even noticing. Being the great singer that she is, she improvised and adlibed the rest of the way until the end. Years of doing concerts and singing live paid off for her.

3:18 look on drummers face as he's watching Patti and knowing what she's about to do. They ( Cyndi & Patti ) aren't about who sings harder or softer, they both compliment each other. I liked both the beginning and the second verse equally. One, doesn't have to choose, one can simply say they both sang the song. Peace ☮️ y'all.
