Yet another desk PC build - I guess I just can't stop making these ;)
I know the video is a little bit on the longer side, but making a standing desk PC is a little different story so there's a lot to cover...

Thanks to everyone for the feedback regarding the EMR.
I'm not a scientist and I admit that I didn't do thorough research on this topic... this is why I didn't feel comfortable saying that it's perfectly okay to sit 3 cm from a major source of EMR. I thought I was being responsible...
I sincerely apologize to everyone who feels disappointed or offended - I just figured that now that I'm a dad, I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Brilliant video. Please keep them coming. Your videos have been a big inspiration and source of material for my own little hobbyist workshop. I also appreciate the genuineness. When you learn we all learn, both from the videos and the comments.

Everyone tries to make it horizontal while it would be so much easier to also take advantage of the useless vertical space on the back. That would keep the top part much slimmer. The obsession to have a literal desktop computer cripples the revolution of fusing a desk (not a desktop) with a computer 😁

Haha, I just rebuilt my kids PC into an ikea desk and the layout is identical. It works great!

Another amazing project. :) Every time I see your new video I find new inspirations for my own projects. This time I came out with idea of making micro atx modular PC case. I can't wait to start this project. Hopefully after my physics matura I will have time to work on it. Greetings from Warsaw. :)

The hydraulic legs blew me away at the start.
I'll be honest, I thought i was gonna see how it was going to be built.
For me, the biggest issue here was the lack of source of air the fans will have to blow to move through the whole system.
Overall, was still fun to watch.

Knew this was worth a watch at the disclaimer of "doing so at you're own risk."

"...and it wasn't happy. I'm pretty sure this desk is a health hazard" I laughed pretty hard at that - thanks I needed it.

I honestly feel that you need to put a acrylic cover on the PC. Imagine if screw or pen tips drops on them while you are working.

every time the music did its slow record stop sound i expected a full diaper to explode all over the pc components and everything crumble into a broken mess. no doodoo here though, it looks AWESOME! especially the desk carpentry. awesome work dude!

Awesome video! Do you mind sharing your fan mesh holder files for 3D printing?

I really like these builds as they are a bit more "down-to-earth" then the more extreme ones.

I short in my mind the purpose of a desk PC is to hide the damn thing so RGB, "easy to access" and "pretty" are not even on the list of features.
I have yet to find a desk PC build that fit's my ideas so I'll just throw this out here:
1. I don't need to access my PC internals other than to clean (or upgrades maybe bi-yearly) so just hide it.
2. ..and as the reason to access the internals is dust, having a good solution for that is key.
3. I do not want the PC to be in my leg space.. not for the reasons in this video, but for the fact that I like to just have a 2cm desktop where I sit.

The solutions I have in mind so far are:
There is a lot of space in the back of the 230x65cm desk.. so a box of
width, depth and height of 150x25x10cm could house a lot of downwards blowing fans (and other cooling solutions) to maybe even accommodate a HEPA level filter. This would probably not interfere the leg space if it is positioned on the back of the desktop. Simplest airtight access could be to just hinge "the box" against the desktop with a rubber seal (also reducing vibrations). With AIO, PCIE risers and all fans blowing down and out the 10cm height should not be a problem.. even slimmer.
..also why have the AIO radiator in the same compartment at all..?

Hurray a fresh build from YATC! Certainly a surprise after such a while, but very glad to see it happen. Hope you've been well for the past few years!

P.S. I noticed you were using chrome in the video, I highly recommend checking out vivaldi, been using it as my main chromium browser for the past few years and really like. It's more advanced and lot more customizable than chrome, completely compatible with chrome extensions and lowers google's influance over your data.

Nice video.and work.

If you allow me some considerations I would point out that:
- having a drawer to hold the components may not be the best choice because when you pull it although it come the whole set together there might be some consideration with cable management and the cables might not be in the best arrange possible.
- The position of radiator allowed some hoses to go on top of other parts and it is not aesthetically. Maybe rearrange it could offer a more pleasant image.
- The metallic tape is interesting but maybe a broader one could create a better result.

It inspired me to make one on my own.

Love your video dude!
