Absolute proof that even the Americans involved here know that they're up to something shady. Even asking the most basic question possible, who are you trying to reach, results in stammering and a quick hang up. I couldn't help but notice that their script seems to be similar to the rest of the scammer scripts I've heard, with the "No YOU need to tell me your name so I can verify it in my records." What a joke.

I have a lifetime warranty on my vehicle and I would still get letters in the mail that had the actual name of the dealership with logo on it saying warranty is going to expire.
I knew it was a scam but decided to call my real dealership anyway and they said they would never send that to me. Just in awe how real the letter head looks. Made me scared and mad for the people who don’t know it’s fake!

That was great asking her who you are. You are correct that they should know who they are calling. You caught her and she didn't know how to handle it at all. So funny what you did to her Tom!

A very simple, yet effective exposure over how this scam works. If some stranger who doesn't even know your name really wants to talk to you, that's your cue to hang up!

The warranty scammers think I have a 2018 Honda. I let them go thru their script and see how much time I can waste. Then I end the call by asking if they cover the blinker fluid.
