I just discovered this distro from a helpful Linux user on reddit's FindMeADistro. This is one complete Linux OS for creators of all stripes! I really like the fact the user doesn't have to hunt up necessary applications, which we don't know their names before any work can proceed. I think this is going to be the OS for my workstation rather than Ubuntu Studio.

I feel like the creator of this distro has tried the age old (non-working) distro model of installing everything anyone could possibly use in one OS and using an over the top theme to top it all off, perhaps that appeals to some people but the way I see it if I want that I can just install it, I don't want to have to remove all the stuff I don't use, this just causes bloat, which is a shame because if this distro dialed it down a bit it could be one of the nicer XFCE desktops around

It asked for payment but the download window was underneath and was able to download and install without any issues. It says Ultimate and it is, if you don't want all these apps then use the light version. The system is very fast even on and older PC. I find it interesting and it is very usable and the web page, if I understand it says it is used and developed in a school like setting.It is very new and not installed and used by many people. For a very new Distro, I find it unfair to be very hard on it, as this just works and I can't say that about a lot of the Distro's that are listed on Distro watch...

hello tos i have switched from manjaro cinnamon to the new manjaro 18.0 kde 5.14 desktop and i think this is a great desktop environment everything a windows user wants is in the new kde desktop is there and more it is very nice and fast kde becomes better and better I think this will be the desktop of the future

Modicia OS is indeed the nicest and completest Linux distribution. It looks and feels a lot like MacOS but luckily it isn't.

I tried the light version. During install I chose US keyboard and after install the key mapping wasn't US. Anyway, if you really want to know how to pronounce the name, they have a little player, click it and you can hear it. Kind of Italian sounding. Mod-i- cha. So, yeah.

I sometimes like to download this kind of distro just to take a few hours to play with all it's toys. In the end there is one or two apps I don't have, that would be nice to have. The rest of it is more that I need, but maybe someone else can make good use of it. Ubuntu Studio 18.04 also comes loaded this heavy and is supported for ten years.

I considered it, but it wasn't even listed on Distro Watch so Strike One. Then I hit the web page which was absolutely terrible. Strike Two. Finally it required that you either have to pay for access to the download or disable my adblocker. Considering how bad their web page is and the fact that they aren't listed on DW there was no way I was going to do either one. Strike Three and they are out.
