Modicia Linux - I Thought This Would be a Typical Review But Then I Found These Surprises...

Modicia OS, a fantastic Distro based on Ubuntu LTS. This Distro is full of surprises (the good kind) and even though I love the Arch side of things, this was a very comfortable and well designed environment that I would very likely recommend to friends and family as a friendly and versatile Distro.

I am hearing this for the first time, but I am currently happy with my Manjaro xmonad

I had alot more problems with it than I expected on a hardware install. keyring issues, wifi drivers, wifi connections, and some programs. I hope it continues to grow, it's very nice looking. I ended up using Manjaro KDE, but always looking for a distro that will make me look away from Manjaro in ease of use out of the box.

Hi Jack, Great to see your intro to this very stylish distro. I have struggled with downloading the free community ISO, it seems to drop midway, or at the end of the download. I haven had any issues like this with other distros, if it failed there was a resume, but not with this. Is there something I can do on my end, like install a download manager? Thanks in advance.

hello . just testing linux modicia os. for a short time. it looks great. works great. I have a question where can I find and under what name is the app center. I want to install my favorite programs and I do not find the so-called app store. or maybe this distribution does not provide for additional applications to be installed? A small request. Linux Modicia installs from a flash drive to the desktop and here without any problems.

And I don't want to fire on a Toshiba laptop. The following text appears: "grub_"
and there's nothing else I want to do.

Just like Element. Polished. May not capture much market. I prefer to stick with the more main stream versions. Its going into a VM - thats a good place to start.

While it's wonderful to have reviews of the most popular and most appealing distros available, it's olso nice to have those ones about these "out of this world" systems... To each its own really!... Nowadays I'm on Manjaro cinnamon that is what suits me the best right now... Congrats to the video, but I can see no point on this one. Another Ubuntu for the worst with some Italian/Eastern influence design mix and a few specific apps for certain professionals!... Not really for me!...

Something really wrong with these people, they want to charge for a iso of Linux, they didn't make anything they are using.
