HM the King said quite clearly in his first address to the nation he will not be able to act as King as he did as Prince. In fact a year ago he said 'I am not that stupid'.
Charles knows from his late mother how the Monarchy evolves but always keeps above politics. It is a unifying and consolidating force and uses soft power not political power (which evaporates).
And it was interesting this political moderator (?) failed to mention that the UK changed both political and constitutional power inside 48 hours and there were no shots fired, no riots. A markedly different way than as is the case in the USA.
