Man, I saw the movie back in late 90ies, I was a kid, but I still remember almost every single scene shown in this trailer, it has been more tan 20 years since then, but I still remember the movie, it is crazy how deep did it stuck into my head.

I remember seeing this on tv in the early 90s at a very young age. Some of the imagery is so deeply burned in my memories, that I still remembered it decades later and found this trailer. May it never happen again.

The description of the atomic bombing is completely wrong. Human bodies within the hypocenter and a 5km radius of the surrounding area were instantly charred. The shock wave was not wind but a pressure vibration wave, not wind. It is very unfortunate that Americans have only this level of understanding of the atomic bomb.

What most people don't know, and they never teach in school is that there was a massive invasion force from the U.S. on it way prior to the bombing. Yes, the U.S. was sending hundred of thousands of men to invade Japan. This force was to be used if the bombs failed. My father and his brother were among the men. Once the bombs were dropped and horribly successful the force's orders were changed to a massive aid effort.
Things like this happen not because of the people, but because of governments. If Japan had never attacked Perl Harbor this never would have happened. If Japan had joined the U.S. against Hitler who had been destroying Europe things would have been very different.

Never like President
Harry Truman, he was always the type, shoot 1st ask question later. He was a mistake, to be a President, having such power and not the right thinking.

He seize our steel mills during a strike, then
did mandatory inflationary controls. He two face our allies.
There's so much wrong he did, that I just don't have the time to text it all.

Sorry, this movie just brought back, the no thought President of how many innocent lives he took on that dark day. Including our own soldiers as well..
