IMO Sullivan should have been fired after their poor start last year. Something needs to change. That’s the next domino. After that we go from there. As a pens fan I feel so happy I was able to get to see some cups with this team. I’m 31 so I was born during the initial run but most of my life was seeing horrible teams. And sadly it’s now back to that, even with 87 and 71 still here.

Pens are basically taking the same path as the Sharks, they're just like 3 years behind. Kudos to EK65 for coming in to help expedite the nosedive, strange that he hasn't made the playoffs once since demanding that huge contract.

Pens need to tear it down and get some value for their stars while there’s some left! Time to rebuild! The core is aging and far from where they once were.

The EK trade was a huge mistake because they needed a solid defenceman in front of jarry, not a sieve. To top it off, they gave up a first to get him. I said this at the time along with the fact that the core 3 were always going to decline so why try to 'win now?' Why? because dubas always wants to make himself look good now.

The Penguins core players are old, soft, and have tuned out Sullivan. Their defense and goaltending has been below average for 5 years now. They haven't won playoff round since 2018. I see no reason to believe this isn't just who they are.

The two maybe three previous GMs don't under the cap. Always traded for "now" and when trading away so many draft picks, the Pens have had very few cheap young players on the ELCs. Just so many "iffy" cap players on the team, and too many declining vets.

Couldn’t happen to a better GM. As a Leafs fan, I couldn’t stand Dubas. I always believed Hunter should have succeeded Uncle Lou. I knew this team was going to tailspin when they went after Karlsson. He was not what they needed.

Sid realized he was playing on an AHL team the entire time. His back was broken carrying them last year. I don't see it turning around.

This is the result of the Pens focusing on nothing but picking up Forwards every off season and the fans were fine with it until this result . Bench Letang . He is horrible and forgot how to play Defense . Letang is on the ice for almost all goals against and is usually the one getting burned for the goal .

Karlsson has 4 season out of 11 that he has been a plus player. His 101 point season he was a -26. He is a career -106. He has always been trash in his own end it looks like a great trade by DUBASS.

Being from and still living in Pittsburgh and following this team since 1982 They need to Fire Pens Head Coach Mike Sullivan. And i been saying that for 2 years now!

Is this a surprise to anybody you're not paying attention. The moment the contracts for 35, 71 and 58 were signed, the Penguin's ...and Sid's... fate was sealed.

Dubas is in such a bad spot because Pittsburg with Crosby malkin letang etc are gonna be mediocre. He has to try and keep winning with a older core so they’ll be stuck in the middle until the veterans retire, then start a rebuild anyways
