The adult is more childish than the child

What a jerk I was at a kiss concert once in Sacramento and a jerk like this took the drum sticks out of this 14 year old girls hands that the drummer was handing to her and they stopped the whole show until he gave them back it was epic needless to say he had to leave real fast

Wow, what a jerk. Class organization by the Pens to give him a free jersey & a few new pucks.

Stealing from a child. How proud he must have been. He knew that puck was for that little boy. The announcer called him a gentleman how kind. I would have used other words to describe him.

The exact same thing happened to me at a baseball game when I was maybe 7 or 8 years old. The man who threw the game ball walked right past me, made eye contact with me, waved the ball at me and smiled. I was looking gloom and this instantly put a smile on my face. I reached out for the ball but sadly it was quickly caught by the guy behind me. I looked back but he didn't even bother to look at me. I don't know why, but I swear, i'm 23 years old and I still frequently look back at that moment.

That man should be embarrassed. You're in your 60s guy. What the hell are you going to do with that puck anyway? Sit and stare at it while every fan with any form of decency stares at you for being a shithead? Good for whoever made that decision in the Pittsburgh organization.

The cad who took the puck is a low life. Find out if he's a season ticket holder and deny him next season.

Puck to an adult: <$2
Puck to a young kid: EVERYTHING
Glad the kiddo got more than he was hoping for originally. That aint no "gentleman."

It was the responsibility of the surrounding men to even out the situation

That is like the best moment of that kids life. I feel SO happy for this kid!

You guys are thinking about this all wrong. The whole reason the kid got extra stuff is BECAUSE of that guy. He's the real hero here.

What a gent Bylsma is! Its not even his home rink. People that him are great for the sport! Even gave him the fist bump at the end!

So many years ago I went with 3 friends to a pre season game between to NY rangers and Washington capitols in Albany NY... Not many people in stands... Puck comes over the glass and this guy and young boy go diving for the Guy comes up with it and starts showing it off.... I start chanting... Give it to the kid.... Crowd gets into it and we keep repeating it.... He finally gives it to the kid.... I start chanting... Way to buckle under.... Crowd picks up on it.... He was so embarrassed.... Loved every minute of it....

This outcome was SO wholesome in the end. Kid gets a personally-handed puck, a jersey, a hug from the mascot, and high-fives the team? Kid got out like a bandit despite the actions of that evil adult!

The guy who stole the puck has to go home and watch this on replay for years to come no one will let him forget how he stole a puck from a kid on national TV not to mention YouTube.

The only way that this could've been better, is if they revealed this guys full name and phone number to the entire world.
