What better way to kick off the new year than with some ProRevenge? 🎉
*First OP:* There's never a dull moment with Deleted. I hope her dad and WJ's kids can heal after everything.

Story 2: I got screwed by my company - not quite in the same way, but the same method. It wasn't in writing. They said that I would be getting an incentive bonus if I stayed. Guess what didn't happen. I have yet to get away from them, but I have already got a parting sentence if they ask why I am leaving. "Incentives work in both directions, if I get it, I am incentivsed to stay, if I don't, I am incentivsed to leave."

1st story - The moment the words of "I'm going to kill you" were uttered by that woman OP should have immediately reported it to the police since it is a crime to use a telecommunications device to utter threats, and considering her connection to SD, which OP could play on, you can bet the police will act on said threat, even if it was said in a fit of rage with no malice behind it.

PEOPLE, Good workers don’t quit bad companies, they quit bad managers. The corpa overlords need to learn this.

First OP - DEFINITELY go to the cops and tell them “Karen” threatened your life. If this is as small of a town as you say it is, then the police will know who she is and will be more than happy to intervene on your behalf. 😈

It's comical how cheaters always blame others for ruining their lives.

I had an issue with telemarketers calling me repeatedly trying to sell me a subscription to my local paper. They’d argue that they were contracted by the paper, and I must have told a different vendor to remove me from their list. I responded that it didn’t matter which company I asked to remove me from their list, according to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, businesses are liable for violations made by their contractors, so I suggest they make sure I’m not called again. I then followed up with an email to the newspaper informing them that if I received another call, I’d be filing a complaint with the FCC. I received a response apologizing and notifying me that they’d removed me from their list. I didn’t get another call. Every now and then I learn something useful in a work training course.

Bonus story.... Always get it in writing before accepting. 😮

For the guy who got screwed out of his bonus, he should have contacted the client AFTER he was out of his contract, let them know the situation, and see if they wanted to hire him on.

You should have waited until after she got half of the company she was working for that way your Dad would have gotten half of it in the divorce.

Revenge? That last one is a public service. I’d report a drunk driver without needing a reason

The bank revenge one, check your local laws. If you live in a place that has single-party consent for recording calls, you can wordlessly give yourself consent to be recorded, and record your interaction with the bank. Get it on record that they claim to have cleared your information, and also get it on record that you are prohibiting them from contacting you in the future. That's the important part. Because if they call you again, you can take that directly to the authorities and get them fined up the wazoo.

Cheating on your husband in the gym his kids have membership too is very low IQ.

To the bank call story, the same thing happened to me, because my downstairs neighbor was in some kind of debt. I kept getting calls from a law firm. I asked them nicely 3 or 4 times to stop calling explaining I don't know what business they had with my neighbor and it's not my business to know. But please stop calling me. They said it was the only number they could find to the address. I said yes but I'm apartment 2 not apartment 1. They said they can't stop the calls. I said oh okay, well the next call you will get will be from my law firm and I will be prompt in my collections if you continue to harass me about my neighbors debt. Have a nice evening.

For the story about the bonus, OP really dropped the ball when all he had to do was demonstrate that he's about to leave, and ask for the bonus in writing or as a check handed straight to him.

He had all of the cards to pull a power move instead he just hid away and lost all that potential

Calls: The Red Cross started calling me DAILY to donate blood even though I asked them to stop 104810 times. I finally emailed their fundraising arm telling them I was going to tell everyone they were harassing me and to not donate blood with them if they didn't stop.

They stopped.

10:45 I don't understand why OP didn't use his role as leverage to have the bonuses included in the new contract...🤔

When I still had a landline I made sure that it was unlisted because of my job as a regulatory officer. The largest of our local newspapers was having a subscription drive. Of course they use a system that gives the salesperson random phone numbers. Not being angry, I inform the salesperson that this is an unlisted phone number and “to please remove it from the system”, the salesperson goes off that he had freedom of speech and can call as he pleased. That is where I responded that, having a phone is a paid service to which I additionally pay for my privacy, this is also backed up by Federal Law. Again, remove my number from your system or have me talk to your supervisor. Angrily, the salesperson hands me over to his supervisor. The supervisor was quite professional and with a brief explanation by me (no anger or expletives) said, thank you sir, it will be done immediately. I also requested to explain to the employee about where “Free Speech” ends when a paid service is involved.
Aftermath, no more calls from them. Later I removed the landline as it was all spam and scams, being on the “Do not call” list didn’t help that.
