I can't be the only one who wants to try out actual physical buttons again, right?

Good ol' nostalgia. This was my first flagship when I was in high-school and was devasted one time after dropping in a bucket of salsa at work, lol.

Loved this phone during the time. Only issue I kept having was the volume button kept getting stuck. Ended up trading it in for a note 4

My s4 still works fine in 2022, the only problem is that it heats up like an oven.

I remember the screen being very impressive. The default wallpaper seemed like it was glowing whenever I looked at it. I think every Galaxy S4 will eventually overheat and give you the infamous Sim Card Error. The sound will eventually go permanently silent. Sometimes it won't turn on. Up until that point its a nice phone.

I've always used iPhones but I've recently been looking back at what might have been had I gone with Android at the times I bought a new phone and this would have been my new phone in 2013. Thanks for this video! I have half a mind to pick one up just to play around with it.

It overheated, but my phone never exploded like other people's s4 on youtube. I must have changed the battery 4 times as well as the screen protector and case. It worked fine with no problems until it couldn't update anymore. Best phone I ever had, so far.

I changed from a galaxy S4 to galaxy A50 and I'm totally fixing my old S4 and going back to it. It's lightweight, nicer ui, better camera, screen is small enough to reach the top of screen with only thumb, the top bar & bottom bar with physical button prevents a lot of missclicks and makes recording way easier (+physical buttons are nice)

My dad still uses this phone until the screen broke because water got spilled on

The phone literally stuck to its motto: "Companion for life"

I used this phone up until late 2019, threw in 64gb micro SD and a brand new oem samsung battery. Loved this phone so much. Only problem i ever had was trying to get it to charge. Ended up tossing it after the charge port got severely damaged.

Why did they say the S4 will be obsolete past 2022? It came with LTE, which would make it compatible with 5G going forward. Or is there any other reason?
(thanks in advance).
-still using S4 :/

If there's anyone who can advise me, I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 that's in pristine like new condition which I purchased about 9 years ago for my mother-in-law. Come to find out after 5-6 months, she hardly touched it and had no idea how to use it (she was using a very old Nokia flip phone then and I thought she'd appreciate an upgrade to one that had more features, a better camera, etc....I was totally wrong!) She's out of touch entirely with anything newer than the 1960s! So, I would like any advice on how to sell this phone - I even bought a $40.00 Otterbox case (white and gray) which is currently on the also in brand new condition! I've kept this phone in a plastic container with a sealed top in a cool environment for the past 9 years, only occasionally taking it out to keep the battery from completely draining to 0%. This is the Sprint variant Galaxy S4 for anyone interested. Thank You!
