The Jews returned to Jerusalem...Zechariah giving them hope, giving them hope in the hopeless situation, encouraging them to rebuild the temple and telling them not to worry, God is with them. Zechariah played a vital role in giving God's message to the heart broken Jews. Thank you Fr. for explicitly explaining the first reading, may our Lord's name be praised. Today's teaching by you Fr Warner and by my parish priest of betalbatim native church were very similar, this experience confirms working of Holy Spirit, today being my birthday, God want to drive in my life through the anointed hands of my spiritual fathers his mission. We have the liberty to accept or reject the invitation and either way he respects us. Our complete liberty, however gives us the choice to choose heaven or hell.
