That's the obvious method that everyone has tried, failed, and searched for a proper technique. That clearly doesn't work. Definitely sounds 100% male. If you pitch up too high you lose tonal quality and sound inhuman.

i used to have some program that had voice filters with one that made you sound like a woman. i was amazed at how well it worked, but now i realize that it probably worked really well because i was 13 at the time and already sounded like a girl

Hey Mike, points into the right direction, but to really get there, you need to manipulate the formants. Now, I am not familiar with Audacity - is there a tool that can alter pitch and formants independently? If so - that really does the trick.

Hello, I tried this but for some reason it affected the whole track as I edited and cut the tracks but for some reason it makes it all sound feminine. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? AS THERE ARE ONLY BITS THAT I WANT SPECIFICALLY TO SOUND FEMININE
