I could agree with it, one time I was like totally ‘blinded’ with joy that I realized, joy is something that are often misinterpreted by people. I tried so hard to be happy all the time but it was a weak foundation as if my Joy is plotting to take over the whole team. Only when I used different approach it felt different but better

Can we all agree that Joy is not a villain? Joy's job is to keep Riley healthy. It is healthy to be happy. Joy is kind of like a parent and she is not happy about Riley growing up because it might be sad and she might forget a lot of stuff that Joy likes. Like my comment if you agree

Joy wasn't a villain. She was only misguided. Joy is merely a part of Riley's mind. She knows as much about emotions as Riley. Riley is a kid, so how can you expect Joy to understand the purpose of sadness. Kids usually see sadness as the enemy. Emotionally, Joy is only as mature as Riley.

The mocvie is about learning about how we may feel angry and confused but we should all be calm and feel gratitude towards everything. You don't need yo bring out characters' mistakes. If joy wouldn't have made the mistakes what would the movie even be about?
