My mom and step dad have a 1 bedroom 1bathroom small house. And when I said I was wanted to live with them, they built me a tiny rammed earth house with a bathroom, living space, bedroom, and kitchenette. Since we live in central Texas, it was a great option since rammed earth keeps cool air inside in the summer and warm air inside in the winter.

I talked awhile ago to my insurance agent on "Tiny houses". Said if placed on land as permanant living, they will not insure. This is because of the severe weather hazzards of near zero protection. If part time on a property, can be insured as RV trailer.

I think these are such a great launching pad into a tiny home for the decerning owner. An architectural design can truly capture the high light that draws even a big hike owner in.
