The pentagon failed its last 7 audits…. And by the way… has only ever had a total of…. 7 audits.

This just shows how little these guys know. This is not a shock to anyone who actually knows where Bernie has stood for decades on this topic.

Gravy train is over, not our grandchildren will have to deal with this, the time is now and not later when debt hits 65T. We will have to accept the cuts and it’s very unpopular

As a member of the Military I agree that we need to trace down where every penny goes and hold some people accountable for miss use

Vivek said entire agencys will go on day 1. No mention of having to go through cbo. If cbo approval is required, they already have it.

I’m sorry guys but the dishonesty here about this being a new move for Bernie Sanders is ridiculous. He’s been for cutting the DoD for decades, nothing new here. But I guess now the new right has found out that it’s an actually popular position.

The thing is, this is Classic Bernie. And this is Non-Classic Republicans. Everyone's siding anti-establishment because for decades every department has been steadily run into the ground deliberately at the expense of ordinary citizens.

The problem is these Politicians spend their whole lives in office. On the taxpayers dime. As the cost just to cover government employees salaries, pension funds, premium medical, vacations, Holidays etc.. is now $3.1 Trillion a year. That does not include transportation, fuel, electric bills, water, building maintenance, supplies, computers, phones etc...Time to let them go. As they produce nothing. Yet take that much out of Economy each year..

I heard some get paid off with loads of Antique Furniture worth $Million as payoffs. As they don't have to claim them on their tax returns.

Bernie wants to cut DOD spending to redistribute funds to projects that interest him. But, DOD certainly needs accountability.
