EVERY NEW bill should require a vote in the House and Senate as a stand-alone bill. Each bill must then be reviewed by the Congress after a fixed period of time and again pass votes as stand-alone bills.

This was funny in my opinion. I heard "we didn't want to add or do things in a large package." The House of Representatives has tried to function by sending many different funding bills, and I can say that "they have tried." The debt limit doesn't need to be raised until June of 2025, and the president elect wants to raise the debt limit to save billions for his rich friends.
