In this video, I’ll show you how to fill out a travel journal, and share my Wanderlust passport travel journal ideas. I am so excited to finally have this Wanderlust Passport completed! In this vlog recap, I thought it would be fun to look back at my first trip in 2019 to Iceland, and then follow that with my trip in 2022. See how my travel journaling style has changed over the years, and how I fill out my personal travel journals.

My Wanderlust Passport Travel Journal is a traveler's must-have item for documenting their vacations, trips, adventures, milestones, and memorable moments. It has also inadvertently become a travel hack because I can now easily reference in one place where I've been, what I missed, what my budget was, what I loved, and what I hated all in one place!

Keeping a travel journal is a wonderful way to document your adventures and memories while traveling. The Wanderlust Passport Travel Journal by Bobo Design Studio is an excellent option for travelers who want to keep a detailed record of their experiences. Here are some tips on how to start, set up, and create a travel journal using the Wanderlust Passport Travel Journal.

Firstly, before you start, it’s important to choose a journal that suits your needs. The Wanderlust Passport Travel Journal is a great choice because it’s small enough to carry with you on your travels, but it also has enough space to document your experiences in detail. It’s also well-organized, with sections for planning, mapping, and journaling, making it easy to keep track of everything.

Once you have your journal, the first step is to set up the planning section. This section is designed to help you prepare for your trip, and it includes sections for packing lists, itinerary planning, and budgeting. Take some time to fill out these sections before you leave, so you can be organized and prepared for your trip.

Next, it’s time to start journaling. The journal has space for daily entries, as well as space for specific experiences, such as food and drink, transportation, and accommodations. Take some time each day to write about your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Be sure to include details, such as the names of places you visited, the people you met, and the things you saw and did. You can also include photos, ticket stubs, and other mementos to help you remember your experiences.

The Wanderlust Passport Travel Journal by Bobo Design Studio is an excellent tool for travelers who want to document their adventures and memories. By setting up the planning section, journaling daily, mapping your journey, and reflecting on your trip, you can create a detailed and meaningful record of your travels that you can look back on for years to come.

I came here looking to see what pens to use in my new Passport for my upcoming Italy trip with my Mom! 😍

My husband and I went to Iceland for 4 days a few years ago over New Year’s Eve to see Sigur Ros play in their home country. It was a dream of his to see them play in Iceland (& at the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik at that!) and a bucket list item for me to see the Northern Lights! I also loved all the murals scattered throughout the capital. Oh and the fact that fireworks are illegal except for New Year’s Eve and Day. They use the money from sales of fireworks to fund the country’s rescue teams & people go nuts! It was a magical trip! Can’t wait to go back…maybe in Spring with our kids next time!

So lovely to see your adventures on paper- makes me want to go back to Iceland again (even if it’s just for the fish & chips 🤤🤤)

We (DH and my two young adult kids) are going to Iceland in July and I can't wait! I have a Wanderlust passport and I got one for my daughter. I am so looking forward to visiting many of the places you have in your journal. I'm adding Nailed It to our restaurant list for sure and we are going to Sky Lagoon and the new Forest Lagoon near Akureyri. I hope I can journal our trip half as cool as you have done yours. I love my WL passport.

We loved Iceland. We went to Dynjani in the West-fjords and saw puffins, but white knuckled the drive up the mountains in a manual Kia Rio with no guardrails. 😂

Maybe there’s hope for me yet. I start of with good intentions, bringing my TN. And supplies with me, thinking I’m going to so my journals on the fly. When that doesn’t happen, they kind of fall by the wayside and wind up in a box, albeit with the discreet memorabilia and ephemera for that trip, but never get completed after the fact. I too loved Iceland which we did as part of a Scotland, Greenland, Faroe Islands cruise— the last location being quite remote. Of course love, love loved the Blue Lagoon and all the Fos (Falls) which I definitely not try to spell! There were also so many good new restaurants in the old part of town. I had to laugh though when I saw you pull off your shelf what I thought was. “Flam” TN. Now that was another crazy north to the arctic circle/Norway trip! Perhaps I will get to finishing my TN from my SE Asia trip (in 2018) which was really where my at junk journaling journey actually began! Thanks for the inspiration!

Such a beautiful and inspiring journal. I’m so excited to go to Iceland! We’ve wanted to go for years and years. What were your best sources for planning your trip?

We are traveling to Iceland in October!! I’m so excited! Do you have a journal specific to Iceland or did you just decorate it for Iceland?

I am ordering one of these for each of my family members going to Iceland with me in September! Love this idea. What camera do you recommend for these photos/videos of the northern lights? And what littlw printer do you use? I think some of us will sit and work on this together every night while we are still there!

Hi! I got your book for the first time and about to travel. Does vinyl holds to the type of texture? (Front of book). Also.. do you journal as you travel or do you do it once you get back? Thanks! 😊
