I have a 2022 model 3 rwd in BC interior and it’s awesome in winter/ summer driving. Have almost 100, 000 kms on it. Only 2 sets of tires and washer fluid. No issues. Charge daily at home and it costs me less than $60 per month to charge. Very cheap transport. Would never consider gas vehicles again. More safety and features than legacy automobiles.

I find that the cost of home charging compared to the cost of supercharging is quite a big difference. It’s about 15 X cheaper at home.

Thanks for sharing! I’m on the fence about going ev and Tesla specifically. The rwd is tempting but last winter was so mild in Toronto, which makes me wonder how it’d handle a more typical winter season. I have a few more questions if you don’t mind- in case you’re located in Ontario, how is the charging network around the province and other provinces? Did you make a long ride within Canada, and if so how was the charging experience? Also, did your insurance premium go up owning a Tesla?

I really want to get a Model Y Rwd. But I had a bad experience on winter time driving in Canada 😂. So, I’m driving wrangler with At tires. However I don’t want to maintain the car and pay for gas 😢
