Liz Truss warned the UK against 'talking ourselves into a recession' in Friday evening's hustings debate in Eastbourne, one day after the Bank of England forecast the economy will soon suffer. Truss suggested plans for immediate tax cuts if she becomes prime minister over her rival Rishi Sunak
