X3 : WELCOME TO THE X3 DEMO TOUR

American Eurocopter President Marc Paganini opened the ceremony this morning to officially launch the X3's U.S. demo tour. He thanked the X3 team and his employees for making this event possible.

He then introduced Matt Zuccaro, president of the Helicopter Association International. Mr. Zuccharo spoke about safety in the helicopter industry and the crucial importance of helicopters in society.

Eurocopter CEO Lutz Bertling then took the stage to present the Group's history and innovation to the crowd of more than 1,500 employees, customers and distinguished guests.

He then introduced David Dewhurst, the Lieutenant Governor of Texas, who highlighted the success of the development of the X3. "I would like to congratulate Eurocopter for their investment, design, technology and foresight with this aircraft," said Lt. Governor Dewhurst.

Everyone then proceeded to the flight line for the next big event of the day.
