Pathogen Replication inside Macrophages

Biology Professor (Twitter: @DrWhitneyHolden) describes the adaptations that allow some pathogens to replicate INSIDE macrophages and still cause disease, despite their engulfment by cells that are supposed to destroy them. The video also includes a brief review of the steps of phagocytosis and gives examples of pathogens that use this strategy to cause disease.
