Curious what the tolerances and recommended operating ranges are of these components, in terms of power. If they’ll accept 9v, might they also be able to handle 12v?

I’d like to have a similar system, with a car alarm siren as the buzzer. The siren requires 12v, of course, and I’d rather not fry the circuit between the siren and the power source. Any idea?

*if not, if you don’t hear back from me, it didn’t work.

hi, Can you pease explain that why do we have to use a 220 OHM resistor from the transistor "B" terminal to PIR out terminal. Please explain. what happen if we don't.
