I just realized. The intro is the sniper driving the van, but the soldier screams, and then when they crash you see the Heavy's corpse.

11:34 For anyone using newer versions of SFM, you can just click the little arrow icon next to "RightFingers" to make them selectable

Not only is this a really helpful tutorial, which I am very grateful for, but it also shows how much detail goes into a simple picture. Even parts of the model that we don't notice are posed with so much attention to detail. I LOVE IT!

Trying to comprehend this with a tired mind is like trying to eat beyond when your stomach is at full capacity. Perhaps it is best to come back to this when I'm fully rested and ambitious to take on such a task!

These comments are hilarious because of the majority using a laptop or weak PC without a video card. Trust me, I've been there.

Actually, you COULD lock the weapon's "weapon_bone" bone to the character's hand (Or their OWN "weapon_bone") and the weapon will position itself into the natural pose

Stop hating on this tutorial, to understand it go back and watch 0 basics, this is why its called 13 half the stuff you need in this is told in previous tutorials

Sfm removed for being too confusing for new players

Some people might find other tutorials a bit hard, this is the best one for beginners, going directly in-depth of the posing is exactly what i needed :) ty valve

Oh my gosh. Thank you! I've actually been using a young link model for this so I kind of just animated my character my own way and he looks so cute! Thank you! Liked! Definitely will be watching the next part soon. :)

Very helpful and informative! I'm an aspiring animator, so I figured SFM would be an awesome way to practice. haha, The way you did it makes it look so easy, though-- I probably spent ten minutes trying to position Spy's arm behind his back alone, lol.

I've wanted to learn for YEARS how to do this, but I've been starting at 00 and never thought to start here.

This actually helps a lot more

Tip: When placing the revolver in the spys hand, use the "zero" slider on the revolver to fit it directly

You can just skip to 8:00 if you've been through the last 12 tutorials.
