Seems like a pretty good "every day" affordable computer. Seems like acer could have a killer machine if they just put in a 128 gb ssd standard, remove the dvd drive, and shrank it to 14 inch.

Hey Vic, would you recommend this laptop, but the i5 version with the SSD and everything orr the Asus VivoBook F510UA that you've also reviewed. I like the E15 a bit more but it seems, and I've also heard comments about it, that the screen is a little better on the Vivo. Is it a considerable difference in your opinion?

What do you think about the new model?
It comes with new 8th gen i3, which has turbo and goes from 2.2ghz up to 3.4ghz!, Only downsides I see is it has ddr3l RAM and no backlit keyboard

A pity that they dropped the backlit keyboard on the 2018 edition (which I own). Otherwise, a nice computer for the price. The display is 1080, but is a bit washed-out, certainly not the best. Also, a rather heavy laptop by today's standards. Since there is almost nothing inside, I wonder where all the weight comes from (?)

If i get the upgraded version of this laptop that comes in stock with 6gb of ram and add 4gb which makes it 10. Along with a 128gb ssd would that make it run fortnite smoother than this?
