Really nice intercutting of the music and gameplay footage here. Watching the whole video, at least for me, is an incredible nostalgia trip that really makes me think about how far the Mario series has come, how much ground they've broken (even if not necessarily with every single entry), and also how old some entries already are that I still remember being totally fresh and new when they first came out. This also kind of suggests to me that there is no one single Super Mario Bros main theme, because every game has its own variation (or often many variations) to the point it's hard to pin down a single definitive version, unless it's the one from the original NES game. My only criticism is that the song picked to represent the theme from Mario 3 is a weird choice that definitely clashes with the others.
