To understand how Denis ‘electronic’ Sharipov went from living in the shadow of one of the greatest players CS:GO has ever seen to a bona fide superstar in his own right, we need to go back in time a little bit.

Watching this again after Navi won the Stockholm Major 2021 is really something special. No wonder Electronic was the first one S1mple hugged after winning the final.

Electronic is so overshadowed, finally is my mans getting the recognition he deserves.



Edit 1; Some he did get some recognition in the CIS before, but he was basically a nobody even in the CIS region compared to most of the players on established CIS teams.

Edit 2; He isn't overshadowed anymore, but he is still underrated, I've seen many fans and sometimes casters downplay his ability, and some people even say he doesn't pull his weight on the team.
