It helps to think of it as a Mig welder than can also Stick weld and TIG weld steels.

This is by far one of the greatest information sources on the web for welding. I've been welding since I was 12 and I still learn new things from you. Keep up the great work Jody, Rock On!

Talk about an all in one machine! I'm going to be looking into one of these for my gunsmithing shop. Thanks for the great video!

Saying that it is difficult to install the foot pedal on this machine is an understatement.

I just set up my machine for TIG welding with the foot pedal yesterday. It wasn't that difficult and it went together pretty easily with a pair of long needle nose and a flat head screwdriver. So far I really love this machine. I've done some stick welding with it and I'm getting ready to do my first TIG weld with it this morning

I love my 210mp, after getting everything sorted out on it it works great.. . Only real gripe is how loud the fan is, but I have never overheated it even after burning a 5 pound box of 7014 without stopping... I have recently started playing with the tig feature aswell but without the foot pedal and have made some pretty nice welds but it seems like the pedal is the way to go...

I am still using the Lincoln Electric Power MIG 210 MP. I love it. The thing is solid I've done some really big jobs with it and never had any problems. It has capabilities of a much more expensive machine and if you take care of it this thing will do pretty much anything you needed to do. Aluminum stainless steel and anything in between

Hi Jody,
Another well put together video.   Up until a few months ago I had zero knowledge about welding.  After pricing out the costs involved in having a new frame manufactured for one of my little vintage Boler trailers I decided to purchase a welder and learn how to do it myself.  In addition I signed up at the local Technical School here in Calgary, AB, Canada to take an introductory GMAW course.  I find the combination of being able to view your closeup videos and the hands-on experience with the instructors to be a good learning method for me.
Now, I am not sure if I'm actually going to save money on my frame build because  I'm hooked and am starting to collect all the "toys" to go with my new Lincoln 210MP..  Looks like I need to get set up for TIG... thanks:)  I've already been over to SWAG's website.

Again, your videos are well put together.   I've posted a few of my own and know that more time goes into producing the video than the actual job you are filming.  So, your efforts are much appreciated.

Looking forward to your videos of the Lincoln 210 MP for MIG.
Thanks again

I bought the Lincoln 210 knowing I had to take it apart if I wanted to TIG . Unfortunate to say the least, and not really a vote of confidence from Lincoln design wise . I wasn’t going to bother, but after watching you I really want to learn .Thank you for your videos, very inspiring

Looking forward to seeing your MIG and stick videos on this machine. I own one and it has performed flawlessly in both MIG and stick (haven't done TIG yet). I punished mine on a heavy duty MIG project running at near full capacity for hours on end and never once hit the duty cycle. The recommended MIG settings seem to be a little cold. I usually just put it in manual CV mode and dial in my own settings. Smoothest stick arc around.

Hey Jody,

Thanks for posting this video. I bought this machine when it first came out and have been using it for mig. I like it. It's my first mig, I have experience with stick. I've been waiting for someone to do a Tig demo with the unit. Looking forward to your follow up video's on this machine.

Thank you. Mike

Thank you Jody. I've been unable to get my hands on one of those yet. Glad to have your perspective and experience before the purchase.

Thanks Jody I'm looking at getting that machine next week can the tig option be used without a pedal for a much simpler hook up. Thanks again your videos really do shed the light.

bought one after seeing this video. Finally got together enough of the parts to scratch start. 3 days in doing drills on cold rolled I realized that the black numbers on the regulator that is provided with the machine are in L/min. 40scfm does just fine on mig, but really sucks to learn tig welding. Set the regulator down to 15scfm and things are going much much better.
