FRANKFURT, Germany - Prolight + Sound Hall 3, Level 1, Booth C11 -- Today, at the opening of the Prolight + Sound conference, L-Acoustics announced the launch of the KS28, a new reference subwoofer, adding 3dB of SPL (versus the SB28) and exclusively driven by the new LA12X amplified controller.

This is a top 5 sub on the planet. Only Danley and a Bassboss ZV28 are better. PK and JBL could never hope to make a sub sound this good and loud while being pristinely crystal clear. I have personally seen and heard 32 of these destroy the PK stage that had 48 of their flagship dual 18” subs. Meyer is the only major pro sub I haven’t heard yet.

How those compare to sb28, on site on papir they seems basicaly identical at everithing... is one better for live music and other for edm or what? But love the design looks good
