Always an inspiration Chef Corso! Thanks for teaching me how to cook good food on the trail.😉👍
I’m glad I found your channel watching Dan Becker’s channel.

Love your cooking gear videos! Would love to see comparison video between Minimo and Windburner especially with the pans. From little research I have done I see Jetboil Minimo cooks more evenly especially around the sides of the pan. Thanks

Been using the Windburner for years in very harsh New England winters and never disappoints. Even lights easily in a blizzard!! Super fast boil times too.

Being in the wind and altitude I prefer my jet boil as a complete cooking system. I'm not usually focused on hyper light weight. Great content.

Just stopping in to say "Hi Chef." I love your bringing REAL cooking into camping. LOVE it!!! Thank you for showing freeze dried isn't the only way to eat. I can't really articulate how much I enjoy watching your videos. PS My early 1990's MSR Whisperlite is still going strong... wink...

Ooof, you’re not from Louisiana. Can’t put any form of tomatoes in gumbo. I think it’s like a state law over here.

Great review. I’m weighing options on buying one of these systems. This really helps. Love the channel.

You ever try deep frying fish you caught with your Windburner?
It works since the heat control is so good in the msr.
It's such an amazing piece, worth the extra it cost over a Jetboil.

Very nice! I had no idea that you could bring cut okra on a hike. File Gumbo would also be an option for the gumbo to cut on weight and bulk in the pack, and it is a great thickener.

Looking forward to more stove comparisons. This seemed like a bit of a jet boil redemption, but the windburner still looks very cool and like a better potential all arounder to me. But obviously at the expense of a little space and weight.

The base for the windburner duo also looks very cool, but I figure I should get into cooking on the trail more before I need to go that direction.

What system would you prefer. Jetboil minimo with jetboil pan or msr windburner with their integrated pan?

One thing that you didn’t include in your chart is if they include a piezoelectric ignition. I know my jetboil minimo does, but I don’t know about the MSR windburner. I noticed you used a lighter, does that mean it does not include one?

You cook much like I do (and I mean when I'm at HOME) - if I were on the trail I'd be taking dehydrated veggies for this type of meal

hi n I like the 2 diff dishes but u used the same utensil 2 stir so u contaminated the vegan dish. also can u do video with penny stove vs sterno inferno? I have health issue whereas I can't use gas stoves. thks rox

Msr seem to be better in general but the jetboil seems to have a more simple construction which I prefer over the complexity of the msr

Just odd stove choices because classic Jetboils are known PRIMARILY for their stove/pot integration. That's usually the point of buying a Jetboil.
