I would say social class is another big indicator. In a developing country you probably don't have access to the internet, own an outdated device, and you have limited data.

combining flex and grid just saved me a lot of headache when designing this email form I just set up. feels like a super power haha. especially since realigning the layout width grid is as simple as changing the areas the elements are in. which brought a question to mind. in your opinion, is it better to use flex as the parent to the grid or use grid as a parent to the flex elements? or is it interchangeable depending on your layouts needs?
