SURPRISE SYRIAN MEAL (in South Dakota!)

When I woke up this morning in South Dakota, the last thing I thought I'd be eating for lunch is a delicious plate of SYRIAN FOOD!

But much to my surprise, I received a message on Instagram from a lovely lady named Sanaa, who invited me for lunch at her restaurant -- one of the most popular Syrian places in the country.

Words cannot express how happy this meal and experience made me! I spent 2 weeks in Syria last November, and I've really been missing the incredible food and hospitality - and thankfully, I just got my fix of both. Syrian cuisine might just be the best on this planet, what do you think?
