"I see you, that's because energy is reflecting out of your scalp."

Well, that's one way to call a person bald.

Neil is exactly the kind of guy that would have told Tesla that DC electricity is the only way.
He doesn't bring anything of his own to the table and never thinks outside the square.. he simply regurgitates the currently accepted understanding.
Tesla did see information being transmitted globally. He literally desribed the cell phone with facetime in the pocket and he additionally described transmision of energy throughout the earth.
Given his track record, we would be fools to doubt the possibility he knew how to do something we still cant figure out.

It is enough for Tesla that millions of people regard him as a game changer individual

Tesla was a genius. Might have been a bad business man. But still a god damn genius

The fact that we never even knew anything about Tesla in school is enough proof of how wrongfully treated he was and is. Also this guy is what comes in my mind when I try to imagine how much of an a hole Edison was.

"are you standing in the way of this energy???"

Tesla sitting in a chair reading a book surrounded by a million volts of electricity: uh, ye.

I always knew Tesla was ahead of his time but after spending 5 minutes reading the comments, i know that he was well ahead of ours too.

My grandfather told me that when he was in the US Navy and attending radioman school, none of the lightbulbs were hooked up to anything in the radio shack. They were all hanging by string. The radio waves were more than enough to excite the filament and give off light.

Neil talking about Tesla reminds me of this analogy that we as 3D beings cannot grasp what 4D looks like, other than intuitively. That's pretty much the difference between Tesla and Neil. Tesla was an inventor and prodigy who singlehandedly allowed the humanity to make a civilisation leap.

Him: “you can’t pack sufficient energy in your radio wave-“

Tesla: “Not with that kind of attitude you can’t!”

Neil: Tesla wasn’t thinking about communicating information.
Tesla 1926: “We shall be able to communicate with one another instantly, irrespective of distance. Not only this, but through television and telephony we shall see and hear one another as perfectly as though we were face to face, despite intervening distances of thousands of miles; and the instruments through which we shall be able to do this will be amazingly simple compared with our present telephone. A man will be able to carry one in his vest pocket.”

I did not hear about Nikola Tesla and his contributions until I was 21, reading it on wikipedia. THAT'S the problem for me. I heard ALL about Einstein growing up on a regular basis.

I'll be honest, i remember Tesla having a thing about pulling power from the ionosphere and it would ionize our atmosphere as well. Dude was a genius, but at the same time he was a visionary in some respects. I hold Tesla in the highest of respect cause he wasn't a business man, he kinda just wanted to make the world better.
