Discord Bot with Python - Tutorial 4 - Roles Bot

The last time I was this early Bucky was making python tutorials

As someone who's very new at this there's a few things I find confusing, one being the whole:

def __init__(self, *args, **kwargs):
super().__init__(*args, **kwargs)
self.target_message_id = 1136140442447126622

part. However, one thing I'm most confused by is why at 24:31 after you show us how to remove roles. How come when we add roles to a user we don't need to define a member variable to see who reacted to the message and instead can use payload.member, but when we remove the role we need to define 'member = And I tried it, you can't use Am very confused why

sir the remove reaction is nor working in my case for some reason what should i do

it doesnt give any errors but it just wont add or remove the roles

Enable developper mode on discord, then just copy messages ID by right clicking the message.
