Its a very fussy program that causes headaches to lots even myself time to time.
I did mention to the maker I feel a self contained portable version would be more user friendly.

How to install Kohya ss to make a Stable diffusion Lora Model,
In this video we will install everything needed to get Kohya working on you PC, You will need a Nvidia graphics card to use this program.

IMPORTANT
NOTE:
install Python 3.10.6
if you can't find it, here it is on my cloud for the window installation.

The Kohya Creator recommends this video to those having issues.
This is his YouTube in the Link, He tells me following this will result In Kohya working correctly.

the GUI.bat line is
add the
--inbrowser
to the line
so it looks like this

this will have kohya automatically launch in your web browser when you double click the GUI.bat to run Kohya.

you removed you comment I believe as I only can see a preview on notifications, so could not see the full thing.

I believe the tool will become adopted and very useful, yes it means Artists will be competing with a flood of a new type of art, But there has always been more demand over hand done vs digital.
Id hope those using digital are able to do directly on canvas with there talents as that has the larger demand.
I'm old enough to know things always change and its those unwillingly to adapt and change that fail.
The attention from the artist is not a bad thing as it means Laws etc will hopefully control what happens more in the sense of job protection.
think of it like the actors and the move of voice AI and deep fakes to protect there jobs.
Corridor digital needed to employ hundreds of hours of artist to train the AI with images they did for the project. this gave a artist a Job in a company the never employed that type of artist before. to me it might open up the want for artists.
I have tested training AI with my art and it did not copy it seems to be trained for uniqueness, maybe older AI was different and the law cases had them do that i wonder. faces as this video are trainable but not a copy of Art or fully my style. that gives hope. also repeatability is hard and as you mentioned director and that a great work as AI really needs that from us.
Its a new breed of artists and like all art you get lazy artists.
