Judge Ural Glanville sent rapper Young Thug’s brother back to prison Monday for violating probation by possessing a firearm. Quantavious Grier, also known as Unfoonk, received a 12-year sentence with two years commuted to time served and 10 years probation after pleading guilty to one count of violating the RICO Act and one count of theft by receiving stolen property in December. “You got arrested with a gun within six months of you being placed on probation,” Judge Glanville said reprimanding Grier. “For that reason sir, I’m going to revoke the balance of nine years and six months. You will serve that in the department of corrections.”

Gun aside, the fact that he hasn’t even bothered to pay $141.08 in probation fees shows you how little he gives af.

The judge taking the time to explain himself and confirm along the way with the defendant that he agreed to each portion is extremely important. Dude may not like what the judge did or agree with the judge's decision but he definitely can't say he doesn't understand why.

He doesnt know it yet, but the judge has just preserved his life for a further 9 years.

Thank goodness judges like this still exist. Those who are prepared to apply the law rather than make excuses for the criminals.

This was absolute perfection! This judge is the kind of judge we need in ALL courtrooms across the country. Hold these criminals accountable for their actions.

Wow this is what i call a judge who take time to explain, exposing him all of the agreements he signed and at the final give him the full of the sentence. Respect to you Judge Glandville 👏

This guy did not give a second thought about anything he encountered in court. He just thought he got away with it another time. Was it worth it?

All he had to do was chill, literally! 9 years is a long time in a box.

The saddest part about this is the judge gave him a chance, and he used his free will to get locked up

I love this judge. He don’t put down the defendants he teaches them about their wrong doing. He lets them know your in trouble because of your own doing. 👍🏾

Imagine having the opportunity to remain free but yo "gangsta" instincts were greater than yo human instincts.

He did it to himself. Judge gave him a chance and he blew it. Big ups to the judge for holding him accountable.

That right there is a perfect example of when someone says “you’ll never change “ he had no intentions of completing his probation. Smh

I would just like to know how is it that he had time to ride around in the car with a gun, but never started his community service!

These guys must have serious mental issues to not follow simple directions in exchange for freedom 🤦🏿‍♂️
