This is a question that many brothers and sisters on a pagan path have, and many experience this topic as a fundamental box to check off to keep practicing their crafts.
I hope this video will offer you all the tools I humbly feel as necessary for the deep understanding of this topic.

All the bones and antlers in this video have been found on the day of the shooting of this video in the tundra of Saltfjellet Nordland, the region where I live. I find this the most magical gift ever from the Gods on that day, so very validating.

Freyia, I am crying right now, it’s so beautiful to hear these words from you. By nature I’m not very trusting of most things. When I was misled down the path of- “today let’s give an offering to Frey, Thor, Loki etc”- Expecting some in return that never came. Now I just give offerings to the land, a reciprocal relationship.If it doesn’t feel right I will just leave it alone. Almost two years ago, I asked Freya for help, and when I didn't like the result and tried to back out She grabbed me and held me roughly. She didn't hurt me, but it was a startling event. Since then, I have considered her to be a stern teacher. More recently, I have begun to think of her as a loving mother, forcing her child to face difficulties and offering protection at the same time. Because under natural law, a parent can violate the will of a child for the child's good, I feel certain that She could not act that way if I wasn't her child. What you said about her, "Freya lives in the spaces between what we know and what we feel, " makes me feel that I can be with her at any time. That gives me great comfort. Thank you.

I didn't realize until recently how often Odin has revealed himself to me. Before i was introduced to the old Norse beliefs, runes and path, before i knew my last name and that 40 % of my blood is Norwegian. I recieved my first set of Runes on my 17th birthday ( im almost 37yrs old now) from uncle who carved them from hickory wood and around that same time i learned the orgin of my last name. I recall having a few vivid dreams when i was 15 of who i know now was Odin, and there was symbols and things that are typically associated with Odin within these dreams. At that time i wasnt familiar at all with The Nordic Gods, and those dreams i had i still remember so its a very wonderful experience to make this connection.

My trusted god is Loki, nearly 40 years now. It's been a difficult relationship, times when I've not wanted it, but Loki is not a god to be refused, and now, these past years I've embraced him, we work beautifully together now. ❤

Another great video, very enlightening! It took me a bit of time before I felt ready to watch this, and I’m so glad I finally did. This is a completely new concept for me, but I very much like the sound of it. I’ll admit I’m a bit disappointed there’s not a more clear-cut path to achieving this type of relationship with the Norse deities, but on the other hand, it’s also reassuring in a way knowing that I don’t have to do some dramatic ritual or spell to get there, that it’ll just develop on its own through continued interaction and connection (assuming it’s meant to be), just like a close, trusting relationship with anyone else.
