Common Mistakes in English - Choose & Choice

"Favorite" is the North American spelling. "Favourite" is the British spelling!
"Spelled" is American and "spelt" is British. I am Canadian and we mix both American and British spelling!

choose is in the present tense.
A: I can't decide whether or not I want the pink shirt or the yellow shirt
B: can you choose quickly? I really want to go get lunch.

Now let's talk about chose
Chose it is in the past tense. it means something that you did in your past, like . we would use chose when we are talking about a decision we made in the past .
Larissa: Yesterday I went to the supermarket and I chose to buy natural yogurt instead of milk.
chloe: Last week I went to a party and chose to wear the new dress I bought. It was really beautiful!
David: I chose to study business at university but now i am not really enjoying it .
