2 GENIUS TOGETHER! I wish every Dog Owner should listen to this. Yesterday i met a friend that told me her Dog got pancreatic from MERRICK KIBBLE here in New York bought at Chewy.
Grateful to Dr Judy and Conor, because of listening to every single video of them, i switch my Shihtzu s food to raw since he was a Puppy, and never had an Grateful For Life!!!!

Thank you Dr. Judy for these podcasts. I’m am a first time dog owner and have a 7 month old Shihtzu. Been feeding raw for almost two weeks now. The transition went really well. I learn something new with every podcast. Now I’m on the hunt for a holistic vet in my area.

Perhaps we need a bit of marketing and instead of calling it Raw we all start calling it Fresh. Who would say we shouldn't feed any animal fresh food?

Thank you so much for spreading the message. My shihtzu has allergies, so he scratches at his belly and armpits so hard that it'll leave red marks, and some parts will even bleed a little. I apply ointment on him 4 times daily, as my vet tells me to do. The worst part of his allergies is that he'll constantly lick and nibble at his paws if he doesn't have his cone on. But then, even with the cone, he'll lick the cone because he wants to lick at his paws, but he can't. It's heartbreaking and frustrating to see. So after watching some of your podcasts, talking about allergies and diets. I decided to give it a try and went to the store this morning to buy some lean cut pork. Gently cooked the pork and carrots, fed him. After he's done, unexpectedly, he goes straight to take a nap. And I thought that was strange because usually after breakfast he'll rub his whole body on his bed to relieve his itch. Also, the frequency of him licking his cone has reduced so much, too. He drinks water way less. I don't know if I'm seeing a difference right away, and I know that it'll take a while to see results. But I'm excited to see more improvements down the road.

Raw vs kibble is just so frustrating-- common sense says REAL FRESH FOOD is healthier for anyone. I always make the point to friends that they feed fresh food to the animals in the zoo.. why aren't you for your loved pet? Thanks for this- I will spread far and wide.. for the animals that deserve better food. One day the lightbulb will go on for many more pet parents.. keep up the fight. YOU BOTH are AMAZING!

I am so glad I found you! I've been feeding 1 of my 5 dogs a cooked diet after years of skin/gut issues. I tried many things & got fed up & "winged it" for a year. He's so much better & vet said his bloodwork showed he needed some more fiber (thankfully they didn't push a kibble). Recently decided to start feeding them all a stew style home cooked food. At the same time, found your videos. I've learned so much & in the short couple of months feeding this way I've seen improvements in them all. Thank you for getting this info out!!!

Good idea. Pay an annual fee to a vet, have a visit when needed at no visit cost, that promotes all good health practices. The vet makes money by less visits because the dogs/cats are healthy and rarely need a vet.
Win-win.

I just found this video. Super informative. Love love the science you read, performed, etc. In 2024 there are more kibble food that are freeze dried, or air dried, human grade whole ingredients, I've been looking at Ziwi Pet, I like that there's green mussels in it and have some versions with novel meats. Would this be a good compromise to feeding raw only? Thank you.

Can you take your Beloved to the clinic you left instead will they let you in sooner, so you don't have to wait till October? As I know you know of course, elders can't be waiting months and months for help. How awful, I thought our vet hospital in Hermosillo was busy but at least I can get my Beloveds taken care of asap and the hospital has all the diagnostic equipment and I know right away all the results during my visit. US seems to have gone nuts-oyez. My, I am grateful living in Mexico.

Feeding dogs, is it available from the apple book store? I found it on Amazon, but I’d like to start reading it now.

Is there a good article with links about the safety of raw feeding vs kibble for people with small children?

This a great webinar. I feed my dog mildly cook meat and mix in vegetables. I give only one cup or less of kibble. Found a powder supplement mix from Dr. Andrew Jones from Canada and my dogs lumps and bumps are healing up.

Hi! I am a veterinarian from Finland. I find this topic extremely fascinating. The thing that bothers me is that you keep comparing kibble with sugary treats. It's like saying that all breads and fruit is bad too because they have carbs. All carbs are not equal and it is the amount that counts.
